Please note the Surgery will be closed on Thursday 29th June for essential staff training.  The Surgery will re-open at 08.00 on Friday 30th June.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.  

When the practice is closed:

If you need urgent help or advice there is always a doctor on-call. Telephone the Surgery number  0121 411 0363 and follow the instructions.  If there is a problem with the Surgery number when the practice is closed please call Badger, our Out of Hours Provider, direct on 0300 555 9999.

Accident & Emergency Departments:  HOSPITAL A&E DEPARTMENTS ARE FOR SERIOUS ACCIDENTS AND EMERGENCIES NOT MINOR INJURIES OR HEALTH PROBLEMS.  The nearest hospital is City Hospital, Dudley Road, Winson Green, Birmingham, B18 7QH, tel. 0121 554 3801.

Please note the Surgery will be open between 11.30 - 13.30 on Sunday 2nd July.  There will be no Nurse or HCA appointments available during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

On-line Patient Access

When registering you may also want to set up a Patient Access account. Reception will print a form containing your registration details and instructions on how to set up your account.

Patient Access will allow you to:

  • Book appointments on-line.
  • View and request medication.
  • View test results and letters.
  • View summary or subset of your full medical record.

Cancelling your Appointment

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Complaints

We are proud of our practice. Nonetheless, we recognise that problems may occasionally arise with the services we provide. Should you wish to make a complaint about us or our work, we give you the following undertakings:

  • We will acknowledge your complaint in writing within two working days and will include details of the practice complaints procedure. A copy of which is available from the health centre, please ask at reception.
  • We will give a written explanation within 10 working days.
  • We will offer you the opportunity to discuss your complaint in private with our practice manager.
  • If your complaint involves your doctor we will offer you the opportunity to discuss it with the doctor involved or with the senior partner.
  • If, despite our efforts, you feel your complaint has not been dealt with adequately, we will advise you how you may pursue it.
